7th Southampton (Bassett) Scout Group has been providing Scouting to the area of Bassett since 1914. We do loads of activities including archery, hiking, camping, swimming, wide games community work and much much more!
The group is made up of 3 sections; Beavers (6 - 8), Cubs (8 - 10.5) and Scouts (10 - 14).
Above these ages you can join Explorers (14 - 18), and Network (18 - 25). You can do this by going to the Southampton City Scouts website.
We believe that through the adventure and challenges provided by Scouting, individuals can develop, gain new experiences and skills, and ultimately have lots of fun!
Scouting is open to all. Anyone can join, including girls! Religion, colour and creed do not matter, everyone is equal and welcome in Scouting.
However, you don't have to be young to be part of the adventure. Adults can join as volunteers in one of many areas. These range from being a Leader in the Group, to helping with maintenance of our hut. You could even have a small role like transporting equipment for the group, or helping with fundraising.
